Paper title: Design in a hypertext environment

Summary: In the paper it is suggested that hypertext is suitable for thedevelopment of design tools associated with the preliminarydesign phase of Building Services Enginnering. This argument issupported by the development of a prototype model for"sprinkler installation design". The Macintosh HyperCard hasbeen chosen to demonstrate the effectiveness of the procedures.
