||The AIC Research Group at the University of Salford have been involved ina government funded project that aimed to develop an integrated multi-userdistributed construction project database - WISPER (Web-based IntegratedShared Project EnviRonment). The objective of the project was to develop aworking system capable of demonstrating the future direction ofinformation integration with the project partners' businesses. This paperpresents the development of the specification application that aims todemonstrate the potential for design elements to be specified directly from aproduct database Web site.
