Paper title: COMPUTERGESTüTZTE BAUAUFNAHME ALS GRUNDLAGE FüR DIE PLANUNG IM BESTAND : UNTERSUCHUNGEN ZUR DIGITALEN ERFASSUNG UND MODELLBILDUNG
Authors: Petzold, Frank
Summary: The dissertation concerns the surveying of existing buildings with particular regard to IT-support of the surveying process, evaluable building models, and the provision of information for planning professionals. The building surveying process is examined in its structure and the resulting data analysed. A detailed study of the built object and its structure, of the survey, its methods, tools and technology and the presentation serve as a basis for developing IT-support. The survey is seen as a process of model creation, based on the object-oriented modelling ̓IT-paradigm. This was evaluated with regard to building surveying and extended to allow the provision of imperfect and difficult to categorise information. A system concept was developed from the studied approaches and portions thereof realised as prototypes.
