| Summary: | This paper is about the transition of a new building from the construction phase to occupation and management, and the flow of information across this boundary. It is based on work done to transpose the construction data from the Bill of Quantities and to reformat it into a maintenance manual and strategic facility management plan, for a new f6m University Learning Resources Centre building. The process involved restructuring and reinterpreting the data in the Bill in conjunction with a post-occupancy survey analysis of the new facility, to provide the facility manager with a forward-looking and detailed plan. |
