Summary: Business strategies and information technology (IT) strategies and policies should be inbalance at three levels; at whole enterprise level, at development programme level (e.g. abusiness process reengineering (BPR) project) and at individual development project level.Achievement of such balance requires that both business needs and information technologypossibilities are taken into consideration. This demands collaboration between constructionstaff and IT staff at all levels.
