| Summary: | This paper shows the work performed by the Group of Digital Productions of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC), which is carrying out the digitalization process of the Cuban film material. This paper details the steps in the process, starting from a celluloid matrix up to the DVD format. The digital technology is used in almost all areas of the production, including DVD creation, which is the current format of distribution. |
