Summary: Digital fabrication (DF) is suitable to produce regular and intricate components with reduction of time and higher precision. The authors adopted parametric modeling (PM) and the laser cutter to investigate new standards of ornaments to be used in the contemporary architecture. In this way, some Paracloud resources are analyzed with the purpose of generating new geometric patterns. This paper contributes to discussion about PM and DF in the production of architectural components.
