| Summary: | There is an ever growing body of regulations covering many aspects of design, operation and disposal of engineered systems, artifacts and products. Constructed facilities are governed by an exceptionally large number of applicable regulations. We have developed a WWW–based broker for providing access and support for using these regulations. In this paper, we describe the underlying representations of the documents and classification systems, the search engine used, and the basic operations conducted by the broker. We also discuss further work we intend to conduct. |
