| Summary: | Improving productivity has been a major objective of the building industry, and indeed in all forms of business for many years. The construction process involves many complex processes, which make it inherently difficult to manage and can obviously lead to much inefficiency within the process. It is possible for a wireless communications system to be adapted for use on construction sites in order to improve management control over tasks and communication between parties involved in the project. This feasibility study shows that the implementation of such a system could lead to significant time savings over traditional paper-based management and administration systems. |
