| Summary: | This paper examines the impact of the preparation of the virtual building as an outcome of the design process. The implications for the design practitioner working in an environment in which a virtual building model is prepared and tested prior to commencement of construction are discussed. Changes to the current organisational structure of the design process are suggested if a move is to be made toward an integrated virtual building construction and performance modelling environment. |
