| Summary: | Many efforts are invested in the facility management (FM) of buildings. This can be a major contributor to the reduction of the overall energy consumption and the reduction of CO2 emissions. Sophisticated Building Services Systems are available, integrating conventional energy systems with renewable energy systems. However, the performance of installed systems is insufficiently monitored and analysed leading to a slow degradation of the system performance and finally to increased energy consumption and CO2 emissions. This paper introduces an Information Technology (IT) based solution to assist the maintenance process. |
